grey's anatomy...

One of the best episodes of Grey's Anatomy was last night's Break Your Heart Out.

Here are some of the great scenes I like best (excerpts from Grey's Anatomy Insider):

Start with Cristina and Owen , who have maybe the most romantic day I’ve ever seen. The hotness of the chasteness between these two. It's like the tortured sensuality of the Victorian Era, where a hand placed next to another’s hand could be so electric, so concentrated, that it was actually better than sex.

Dr. Bailey finds herself in the unexpected position of having to comfort Dr. Dixon in the midst of a near-meltdown. One parent’s exuberance freaks out Dixon, and the mom’s spontaneous hugging drives her over the edge. She has a fit and runs off. Dixon asks both Cristina and Bailey to hold her tight, explaining how it calms the nerves by citing the practice of putting cattle in tight chutes prior to being slaughtered. She has a way with words, this woman.

Derek’s twisting himself inside out to keep the surprise proposal for Meredith Grey, trying to find exactly the right way to do it, all of his efforts are actually backfiring, sending the wrong signals and sending her into a panic. Romance and Panic Attacks. Derek try to act casual when nearly cornered by Meredith discussing his plans to propose. Now, he's getting advice not only from his fellow doctors on how to pop the question, but from one of his patients. Derek seems to take The Chief’s advice and enlists Mark to help him spread rose petals, hearts, and teddy bears all over the bedroom.
